  • Description
Vertical clamps are lightweight and made specifically for straight-up lifting of (stainless) steel constructions, profiles, or sheets. Constructed from premium low-carbon alloy steel, its design is small and user-friendly. With the help of vertical lifting clamps, which resemble jaws and hold steel plates firmly, lifting sheet metal vertically is made easy. The Nobles Rig Mate Vertical Plate Clamp is intended to be used as a typical plate clamp for lifting and twisting steel plates, lifting steel pipes, and lifting steel structures like H and I beams. Like every other RIG-MATE product, the clamp is made of lightweight, robust materials.
The main survey tool used in mining surveying is the total station. When drifts of an underground mine are driven, a total station is used to record the exact location of the tunnel's walls, ceilings (backs), and floors. The purpose of the plate clamps is to raise sheet metal so that welding procedures can be simpler. The lifting tool is secured in place after being put into the receiver plate. Your plate is ready to lift once a hook is firmly inserted through the lifter's enlarged hole. Because there isn't an additional shackle required, using it is simple, quick, and—most importantly—safe.
Quick-action clamps called toggle clamps work by employing an over-center locking mechanism called a "toggle action." The clamping arm meets the center to hold the fixture or workpiece in a locked position, and the clamping handle moves a linkage to its center position using a set of levers and pivots.
